Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This policy explains how DEJEN, operated by Degen logistics, inc in North Carolina, United States, collects, uses, and shares information when you use our app and this privacy page.
1. Information we process
- Account and profile: your email address, authentication information, account identifier, display name, handle, biography, and profile picture. Firebase Authentication processes credentials to create and secure your account.
- Content you provide: posts, videos and their audio, photos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, playlists, and other information you choose to publish.
- Messages: message text, sender and recipient identifiers, timestamps, and thread information needed to deliver conversations.
- Interactions and safety: follows, likes, saved posts, viewing interactions, engagement counts, blocked accounts, and content or user reports.
- Technical information: our service providers may process IP addresses, device and app identifiers, operating-system information, request logs, and diagnostic information to operate, secure, and improve their services. Advertising and purchase information are described below.
We use this information to operate accounts, display profiles and content, deliver messages, save your selections, provide memberships, measure engagement, prevent fraud and abuse, and respond to requests. Camera, microphone, and photo-library access is used for content you choose to capture or upload, subject to your device permissions. DEJEN does not request GPS location or access your address book.
Your public profile, posts, public playlists, and membership check mark may be visible to other users. Direct messages are stored to deliver them to conversation participants. Other people may retain copies of information you share with them.
2. Subscriptions and RevenueCat
Apple processes iOS subscription payments, and Google Play processes Android subscription payments. DEJEN does not receive your full payment-card details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore access, prevent purchase fraud, and understand subscription activity.
RevenueCat processes your DEJEN account identifier, purchase and transaction history, purchased products, subscription status, renewal and expiration information, and related store information. Purchase history is linked to your DEJEN account. A server integration updates membership status and the public blue or gold check mark. We do not send your private messages or uploaded content to RevenueCat.
Both paid tiers remove in-app ads while the membership is active. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel through your app-store subscription settings. Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat may retain transaction records after a DEJEN account is deleted. See Apple's privacy policy, Google's privacy policy, and RevenueCat's privacy policy. Android membership billing terms are available here.
3. Advertising and your choices
The free tier displays Google AdMob banner advertising. DEJEN requests non-personalized ads. Non-personalized advertising still involves data processing and may require consent to store or access information on your device.
Google and participating advertising providers may process device or app identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, ad impressions and interactions, product interactions, and crash, performance, or other diagnostic information. This supports ad delivery, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. DEJEN does not send your Firebase account identifier, private messages, or purchase history to AdMob.
Where applicable and available, Google's consent interface lets you accept, reject, or manage the listed purposes and partners. In the updated app, use Ad choices beside a feed ad, on the sign-in screen, or in the membership screen to revisit available choices. Which options appear depends on your region and Google's requirements. You can also contact us about your advertising privacy choices.
Any iOS tracking-permission request is separate from other advertising consent. You can manage tracking permission in your device settings. Declining tracking permission does not mean all advertising-related data collection stops. Read Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner apps.
5. Access, deletion, and retention
You can edit your profile, remove your own posts, and use the account-deletion action in account settings. The current in-app deletion process removes the Firebase account, profile document, owned posts and referenced media, profile image, and saved-post, playlist, and block-list records.
Account deletion does not automatically remove every message, moderation report, engagement reference, backup, or record held by a payment or other service provider. Contact us about remaining personal information. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of agreements. Copies held by message recipients or other users may remain outside our control.
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including operating your account, fulfilling transactions, and meeting the obligations above. Retention varies by the type of information and the reason it is needed.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain advertising uses, including sale or sharing as those terms are defined by applicable law. Contact us to exercise a right or ask about a decision on your request. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also have a right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
6. Security and international processing
We use safeguards intended to protect personal information, but no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. These countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, appropriate protections must apply to international transfers.
7. Children's privacy
DEJEN is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove it. Additional age or parental-consent requirements may apply where you live.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or our practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required.
